COAXIS Energy specializes in providing liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG), and renewable natural gas (RNG), supporting the transition to cleaner fuel sources. Our solutions help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enable the growth of the renewable energy sector by offering sustainable and flexible natural gas options.
2. What types of renewable energy does your organization focus on?
We support renewable natural gas (RNG), which is produced from organic waste, as well as supporting the use of LNG and CNG to facilitate the deployment of renewable energy technologies and infrastructure.
3. What inspired your organization to get involved in renewable energy?
Our motivation stems from the need to lower carbon emissions and support a sustainable energy future. We recognized early the potential of LNG, CNG, and RNG to serve as bridging fuels and support renewable energy growth, evolving our offerings to align with the transition to cleaner energy.

It helps us foster partnerships, share innovative solutions, and promote the sustainable use of natural gas, leading to tangible benefits in project development and community impact.
5. What developments in South Dakota's renewable energy future are you most excited about?
We are excited about the increasing adoption of LNG, CNG, and RNG, fostering the expansion of natural gas infrastructure to support renewable projects. The potential for integrating these natural gas sources with other renewable initiatives to create a more sustainable energy grid is particularly promising.
6. Can you share a recent project, partnership, or initiative that you're particularly proud of?
Recently, we partnered with a local utility to provide emergency natural gas service during a natural disaster that crippled the community's utility services. We were able to set up and provide temporary natural gas services within 24 hours to help support disaster recovery and provide basic utility services until normal utility operations could resume.
